Roles & Responsibilities:
Defines technical strategy for key business areas, contributing to roadmaps.
Identifies disruptive technologies and drives adoption where beneficial.
Works on solutions and shapes the technical direction of a crew or several teams in their BU.
Leads implementation of complex initiatives with impact across several teams.
Designs and shares resilient solutions with high fault tolerance and graceful degradation.
Identify and drive differentiating outcomes around toil reduction, efficiency and new capability.
Influences crew leadership on technical matters.
Drives cross-functional technical alignment across multiple business units.
Builds a culture of trust where team members feel confident to share their ideas and concerns.
Essential Tech Skills:
16+ Years of experience in relevant filed.
Demonstrated experience with building complex solution design and implementation at enterprise level.
Expert level knowledge in AWS architecture and data structures
Extensive knowledge and experience in application development and design and mentoring others. Working Agile
Strong AWS knowledge and data structures
Should include ServiceNow experience
Full cycle developer who enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of writing elegant and efficient code in an Agile environment practicing daily Scrum ceremonies
Experience with Go, JavaScript (React/Node), TypeScript, Python, ReactJS, SQL, AWS, RESTful APIs
Passion for continually improving the processes for CBA engineers and knowledge of micro services architecture and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow and Container technology, Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
Source control and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory, Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Qualys, Graphana and Splunk
Full SDLC and modern software engineering practices such as Trunk development, Unit Testing, Pact Testing, Pen testing and TDD
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
