Job Title: Principal Software Engineer

You will be working as a part of Business Banking to achieve their strategic objectives through planning, prioritising, delivering and supporting projects and initiatives. Your team’s success will be realised through partnering with business and IT teams across business domain and Technology to deliver beautiful experiences and exceptional capabilities to our branch applications

Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development
Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements
Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team
Work within in a team environment and provide assistance in the management and leadership of your team and complete associated tasks
Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production
Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues.
Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments
Technology Skills:
18+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in software development.
Experience in creating high level solution architecture flows.
Experience in BIAN architecture and microservices architecture
Experience in developing technical solutions using .NET Core, React JS, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, Python, REST, GraphQL and API Development.
Source control systems such as GitHub
Build & Deployment tools such as GitHub actions, database such as Oracle, PostgreSQL , AWS Aurora
Extensive experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience in TDD, Secure Coding Practices
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
