WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As Principal Product Manager in Nike's India Technology Center (ITC), you will own the long-term product direction of one of the foundational platforms behind Nike's merchandising. You will sit within Consumer Product & Innovation (CP&I), the technology engine behind Nike's product creation, merchandising, design, and innovation, and report to a Director of Product Management. You will partner closely with global Product, Engineering, Program Management, and Business stakeholders across Nike's matrixed environment. You will also work shoulder-to-shoulder with peers across CP&I and adjacent product organizations to align platform capabilities, evolve foundational tools, and shape the next generation of Nike's merchandising experience across Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a seasoned product leader who leads through deep craft, technical fluency, and broad influence, not through direct authority. You bring a multi-year view of where platforms should go, with the discipline to deliver outcomes one quarter at a time. You are equally comfortable shaping the future architecture with engineering leaders, simplifying complex problems for executives, and partnering with global merchants to turn workflow needs into product.
You have led enterprise-scale platform and internal products before, where the technical and operational depth is real. You have earned the credibility to influence across product organizations you do not directly manage. This is an individual contributor role. You will set direction, raise the bar of PMs across CP&I through informal mentorship, and lead through expertise rather than people management.
Key Qualifications :
8 to 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years on enterprise platforms, data products, or complex internal tools
Track record of leading platform evolution, modernization, or migration across multiple teams or product organizations
Technical depth across data architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform engineering trade-offs, with the ability to partner with engineering and architecture as a peer
Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across business and technology in a global, matrixed environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training; advanced degree preferred Ideally, you also have:
Experience working on global products in consumer, footwear, apparel, or retail domains
Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI applied to enterprise product workflows
Hands-on experience with change management for platform transitions, from sunsetting legacy tools to training and onboarding global users on the new ones

Lead complex platform evolution and modernization efforts, including capability migration, integration, and adoption across product organizations
Partner with Engineering and Architecture to shape the future platform design, data models, and integration patterns

Champion product craft within the Merchandising portfolio (frameworks, KPIs, technical PM practices) and informally mentor PMs across CP&I
Bring emerging technologies like data, AI/ML, and 3D/DPC into the roadmap where they create durable value for the business
