What You'll Do:
The Principal Workday Administrator leads the strategy, design, and governance of LogicMonitor’s Workday environment. This role ensures Workday is optimized to meet organizational needs, aligning technical solutions with business priorities while advancing HR systems maturity. The Principal Administrator drives system enhancements, mentors the HR Systems team, and ensures long-term scalability, compliance, and innovation.

- Enterprise Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the Workday roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise HR and business objectives.
- Advanced Configuration & Innovation: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of complex Workday functionality and integrations.
- Enhancement Ownership: Proactively identify, prioritize, and implement Workday enhancements, coordinating team resources and business stakeholders to deliver high-value outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders to shape processes, drive innovation, and ensure Workday is leveraged strategically.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and oversee system governance, data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance at an enterprise scale.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Guide HR Systems team members, elevating technical and functional expertise across the group.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design and deliver advanced Workday reports and dashboards that support strategic decisions and organizational visibility.
- Architect Enterprise Integrations: Architect and maintain robust integrations between Workday and critical systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, LMS), ensuring data integrity, system interoperability, and robust error handling processes.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years administering, configuring, and optimising Workday at scale, including ownership of complex releases and multi-module solutions.
- Advanced expertise across Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Security, Integrations, and other modules, with a record of architecting performant, resilient designs.
- Proven hands-on mastery of integrations (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP) and lifecycle management (versioning, monitoring, error handling).
- Deep understanding of HR/Payroll processes, compliance requirements, and data governance; able to translate policy and controls into system design.
- Demonstrated leadership of an enhancement portfolio—prioritisation, resource planning, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.
- Workday certifications strongly preferred and commitment to ongoing up skilling through releases and feature adoption.
