The position / About the Job:
The purpose of this job is to do detail engineering & commissioning of assigned Evaporation projects with medium to high complexity.
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
- Having 4-5 years of experience working as process engineer.
- Capable of working independently on mass balance, PFD, PID and component specifications for standard & nonstandard evaporation Projects.
- Preparation of Control philosophy and FDS for evaporation projects. Reviewing a developed program as per FDS.
- Attain Program FAT once program is ready refer to FDS.
- Capable of doing Line sizing and pressure drop calculations.
- Knowledge of design codes & standards like ASME, DIN etc.
- Knowledge of Cadison, AutoCAD & related softwares.
- Capable of reviewing equipment GA drawings, layout drawings Piping 3D model.
- Capable of reviewing of vessel and piping drawings aligned to PID.
- Executing the project with maintaining inhouse quality control procedures. . In hand experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and other hygienic industries will be an advantage.
- Participate in project meetings & discussions.
- Do commissioning and start-up of equipment and processes & deliver training to plant operators.
- Deliver input to improve current technical solutions and / or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage
- Ready to travel overseas sites when required.
- Be up to date with new technology and tools like Promis, Anytime etc.
- Capable to handle 2-3 projects together with all above activities and get job done from Project engineer and Designers
- Main coordinator (Local Project Responsible) with respective projects
- Communicating to global site project managers during executing the project.
