About the Role
HighLevel is seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and proactive Procurement Manager to join our growing organization. In this role, you will run the end-to-end procurement process, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the cost-effective sourcing of SaaS, IT and Non-IT professional services essential to the company’s operational and technological needs. You will work closely with various departments to meet their procurement needs and help maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations while contributing to refining procurement processes to improve efficiency and scalability as the company expands. You will report directly to the Director, Procurement.
What You Will Doing
- Work collaboratively with BU stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, Marketing, IT and People team to align procurement efforts with their business priorities and act as a single point of contact for their procurement needs.
- Lead strategic sourcing and manage the RFP process across key spend categories, including SaaS, Professional Services, IT Infrastructure, and HR, to drive value and support business objectives.
- Drive cost optimisation through advanced analysis and market insights, identifying strategic savings opportunities while ensuring alignment with long-term quality standards and service excellence
- Own the end-to-end management of complex SaaS contract renewals and onboarding, driving strategic value and aligning with business objectives.
- Partner with the legal team to ensure all contracts and agreements are aligned with legal requirements, compliance standards, and organisational risk management objectives
- Identify special projects and initiatives to expand Procurement’s contribution to broader organisational goals.
- Establish and manage relationships with strategic suppliers and negotiate contracts with them to secure favourable terms for the organisation
- Identify areas for improvement in procurement processes, and recommend and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Generate and analyse procurement reports to track spending, uncover opportunities for process optimisation, and provide actionable insights and spend visibility to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Assess and mitigate risks related to vendor performance and contracts.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering (Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus)
- 9+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a tech or SaaS, fast-paced / rapidly scaling organisation
- Experience having worked in a global organisation with peers in multiple countries and time zones, and have strong stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience managing procurement of SaaS contracts and software solutions, including overseeing projects with annual spend ranging from $10k to $200k
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, anda strong ability to negotiate contracts and favourable terms while maintaining positive vendor relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and interact with senior leadership.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to address complex issues and drive solutions.
- Ability to jump into ambiguous questions or situations, identify the key variables and drive toward a successful outcome
- Extremely detail-oriented, highly organised and able to balance multiple projects / thrive in a fast-paced environment
