Job Description

Join our IFS Cloud team as an IFS Cloud Software Developer. You’ll play a vital part in the implementation and development of IFS Cloud ERP ecosystem. You’ll be involved in the design, development, and deployment of new system features and enhancements, supporting the long-term goals of the organization. This role is central to ensuring our systems are AI enabled and aligned with strategic business objectives and long-term digital transformation initiatives.

You’ll report to the ERP Manager and work closely with the IFS Product Owner, Project Implementation Team, and key business stakeholders. You’ll partner with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements, create technical solutions, support day-to-day operations, and drive continuous improvement across the ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions with a focus on AI-powered automation.
  • Develop customizations, reports, and extensions within IFS Cloud.
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware tools
  • Build BPAs, flows, custom pages, fields, menus, lobbies, events, and configurations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, logs, and solution designs
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, and operational leaders
  • Ensure security, compliance, and quality standards are met across all ERP development work
  • Lead or support system upgrades, enhancements, module rollouts, and data migration activities
  • Provide training or guidance to internal teams as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar
  • Hands-on experience developing within IFS Cloud utilizing IFS provided developer tools
  • Hands-on experience with design, develop, and deploy custom applications, integrations, and workflows within the MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML)
  • Understanding of business processes related to finance, supply chain, manufacturing, CRM, or part management
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of development experience in IFS ERP
  • IFS certification or module-specific training
  • Experience in full-cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, or migrations
  • Integration experience with other enterprise systems or cloud platforms
  • Report development (IFS Business Analytics, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Power BI)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint Online
  • Familiarity with complete SDLC processes

Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
