POSITION OVERVIEW
The Product Analyst, Investment Strategy is a key operational and analytical contributor within Bernstein’s Private Wealth Management Investment Strategy Group (ISG), based in Pune. Working in close partnership with US-based Investment Strategy Analysts and Senior Investment Strategists, this role ensures that high-quality investment content is produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule, while also contributing original analytical and technical work.
The Product Analyst will have real ownership of data workflows, automation initiatives, and select content areas. It offers meaningful exposure to US wealth management and a platform for career development within AB’s global organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Production & Quarterly Deliverables
- Support production of quarterly client servicing decks, CAP presentations, and FA/Associate training materials
- Prepare and maintain marketing presentation materials by gathering and validating market data, portfolio characteristics, and performance data
- Partner with US analysts and offshore marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate updates to quarterly factsheets, commentaries, and individual product decks
- Maintain up-to-date product content on OfficeMobile, Product Central, and Bernstein’s internal materials directory
Data, Analytics & Automation
- Prepare and communicate portfolio performance and attribution analyses, leveraging FactSet, Morningstar, Bloomberg, and Global Analytics
- Own and maintain data workflows that power recurring deliverables; proactively identify errors, inconsistencies, or process gaps
- Support development and maintenance of large-scale structured and unstructured datasets used across ISG deliverables
- Lead automation and standardization initiatives using Excel macros, or Python to reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed
Ad Hoc & Specialist Support
- Respond to ad hoc requests from the Investment Strategy team for product views, portfolio attributes, and asset class positioning data
- Provide product and investment strategy support for specialist teams including Foundation & Endowment, RFP, Global Families, and UHNW
- Assist with preparation of customized reports and performance analysis as needed
- Serve as a capable backup for US analyst responsibilities during coverage gaps, maintaining continuity of key deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, investment analytics, or a related financial services role
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Understanding of major asset classes, investment products, and portfolio analytics
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build and maintain complex models and presentation templates
- Working knowledge of FactSet and/or Morningstar; Bloomberg familiarity is an advantage
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to meet strict deadlines across multiple concurrent workstreams
Preferred
- Progress toward CFA, CFP, or equivalent designation
- Experience with programming languages such as Python for data workflows or automation
- Experience working with large structured or unstructured datasets
- Prior experience collaborating with US-based teams in a global or offshore capacity
