Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. As a Product Associate in Strategy & Planning on the Commerce Payments/Digital Wallets Payments team, you will manage and have a deep understanding of the product roadmap, help keep the team organized, and clearly communicate and promote the product's strategic vision.
Job responsibilities
- Maintain deep knowledge of area product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical implementation, operations, and reporting
- Manage key executive and stakeholder updates - responsible for leading material planning and creation in partnership with Product team and extended Quad, e.g., monthly business reviews (MBR), business unit reviews (BURs), and other executive updates
- Monitor and report on Product quality and ensures traceability and health of cross dependencies and linked stories.
- Partner with the Agility Leads in driving continuous improvement across Enterprise/ Line of business (LOB) to reduce waste, drive efficiencies, and improve the overall effectiveness of agile.
- Support team building activities locally
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of experience in digital, program management, product management, and/or Agile practices and principles
- Understanding of product development principles using Agile/Scrum. Some exposure to Confluence and Jira toolsets.
- Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
- Strong writing & presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau
- Structured thinker and effective communicator
- Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology, analytics and design
- Project Management skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Business Management or comparable field of study
- Thorough understanding of digital and mobile commerce payments, including digital wallets, check-out services, tokenization.
- Desire to grow product management skills in digital wallet space
