About Aladdin Product Management

Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works closely with Aladdin developers, client business, and end users to innovate, conceptualize, design and build new capabilities across the investment lifecycle. Being a member of Aladdin Product Management team means working with the best in the industry to build innovative products that shape financial markets. As a Product Manager, you will contribute to developing the product vision and lead day to day execution of the roadmap.

About Aladdin Accounting and this role 

Aladdin Accounting is a comprehensive investment accounting system part of Aladdin. It extends the scope of Aladdin, providing our clients a single, front-to-back investment platform.

We are seeking a Vice President to join the Aladdin Accounting product team. This role sits at the intersection of investment accounting, technology delivery, and client partnership, and will play a meaningful role in expanding Aladdin Accounting’s reach, capabilities, and impact.

You will contribute to and help lead the delivery of complex technology solutions and large-scale initiatives that support a growing and increasingly diverse client base. Depending on level, this role offers the opportunity to own critical workstreams, influence product strategy, and operate as a regional leader within Aladdin Accounting.

The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with a technology mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by solving complex problems at scale. This role is also expected to contribute to Aladdin’s AI-enabled future - identifying where AI can improve user workflows (e.g., insight generation, explanation, scenario exploration, automation of repetitive analysis, natural-language interfaces), and where it must be applied thoughtfully with transparency, controls, and measurable value.

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with Aladdin and Accounting production teams to deliver and scale accounting technology solutions 

• Own or contribute to initiatives that expand the platform to new client segments, use cases, and regions 

• Lead teams of subject matter experts delivering against defined business objectives 

• Maintain clear, transparent communication with stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes 

• Apply a data-driven approach to monitor platform usage, operational metrics, and client outcomes 

• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and product improvement 

• Analyze complex accounting data across asset classes (e.g., securities, derivatives, mortgages, alternatives) and partner with stakeholders to resolve client challenges 

• Clearly explain accounting concepts and calculations to internal partners and external clients 

• Configure client accounting setups, including system elections, ledgers, and reporting structures 

• Stay ahead of industry, regulatory, and technology trends to help shape future platform capabilities 

Desired Qualifications 

• 8+ years of experience in financial services, fund accounting, or investment operations 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment 

• Strong foundation in investment accounting processes and standards (STAT, TAX, US or International GAAPs and/or IFRS) 

• Experience working with accounting platforms or investment technology 

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent designation preferred 

• Experience with reconciliations, ledgers, income analysis, accounting elections, and reporting 

• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English 

• Working knowledge of SQL, UNIX shell, or modern programming languages is a plus 

• Familiarity with product development and software delivery lifecycles is a plus 

• Big 4 Accounting experience is a plus
• Hands-on comfort using AI tools in daily product work (e.g., prompt-based research, summarization, synthesis, draft specifications, competitive scans, workflow mapping, data exploration support) with appropriate judgment and confidentiality
• Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to define API contracts, data interfaces, and constraints, and to translate those considerations into product requirements and trade-offs
