As a Product Manager at Fam, you will manage payment experiences, optimize flows, and collaborate with various teams to innovate fintech products.

As a Product Manager at Fam, you get to create and manage product innovations that the country is seeing for the first time. From the first numberless card in India to the only payments app for teens, you would be required to build upon and build from scratch every day.

On the Job
- Understand user pain points and payment behavior deeply to make product decisions
- Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for payment experiences on FamApp
- Manage all payment flows on FamApp - UPI, Card, wallet, BBPS, gift cards, etc
- Improve success rates, optimize speed, and create transparency across all payment journeys
- Collaborate with external PSPs, banks, and partners to ensure robust systems and uptime
- Stay in sync with RBI and NPCI and ensure FamApp is always compliant
- Work closely with Engineering, Reconciliation, Operations, Risk and Fraud, Design, and Analytics teams to ship fast, iterate, and scale
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years working directly on UPI payments
- Experience handling payment systems at scale (10 M+ transactions/month)
- Prior experience in consumer-facing fintechs or digital-first banks.
- Strong understanding of UPI architecture and payment lifecycles
- Comfortable working with engineers, and have an understanding of APIs, webhooks, etc.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments — from internal teams to banks, PSPs, and vendors.
- Strong first-principle thinking with high ownership and accountability
- Working 5 days a week from office
Good to have
- If you have experience with Fraud & Risk Management systems, Wallets and Reconciliation processes
- Exposure to NPCI compliance requirements and managing bank partnerships.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations relevant to UPI and digital payments.
- Experience hiring and managing cross-functional teams
