Our expansion has created the need for an energetic and motivated Product Owner to join our Product Management Team. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role on our Product team to drive continued company growth. The ideal candidate for this role has experience working in product management and will partner with key areas across the business to drive new development ideas from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder feedback• Write clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that the engineering team can execute.• Lead core Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Daily Stand-ups• Act as the voice of the customer, balancing competing requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership to ensure clear project direction.• Review and sign off on completed features to ensure they meet the "Definition of Done" and align with the original product vision• Partner with Product Management to translate the long-term product roadmap into short-term delivery goals and release plans• Representing, articulating, and coordinating technical implementations of solutions with internal stakeholders, customers, and prospects
Skills required:• 5+ years of experience managing an Agile backlog for a technical solution• Bachelor's degree in business, management or some other related field is preferred• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex concepts clearly to both.• An effective listener that can get to the root of customer problems/needs• Coachability and willingness to take and apply feedback when necessary• Open to and eager to learn new concepts and practices• Confident, clear, and concise oral and written communicator• Highly organized & flexibility in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• A data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to pivot priorities when business needs change.
