Role Description

Production Specialist is responsible for the supply of IT services to the bank.

Work includes:

• Resolving High Critical Incidents, events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas
• Identifying where IT designs can be strengthened and provide value to the bank.
• Partnering with product development to ensure that the business needs for each targeted segment are incorporated into product design and branding approaches.
• Providing technical delivery governance on all related IT platforms and delivering technical expertise for support in outage coordination.
• Embracing a Continuous Service Improvement approach to drive efficiencies and remove repetition to stream-line support activities.
• Driving given task End to End with clear accountability and responsibility.

Your key responsibilities

• Support activities for service operations, such as troubleshooting and solving incidents and problems  
• service delivery
• Actively contribute resolution of incidents and problems within the team & oversee the resolution of
• complex incidents
• Contribute to monitoring, reporting and improvement enhancement.
• Ensuring that Application metrics are monitored and improved where necessary
• Strong collaboration with other support teams, level 3 and project units.
• Change review as a quality gate into production.
• Participating in any adhoc Audit / Governance activity.

Your skills and experience

• Several years – Min 11+ yrs of industry experience in IT – Banking domain – mainly in production / 
• service operations.
• Fundamental experience with Complex Midrange , Data Analytics applications.
• Preferred: Unix , ITIL certification and experience with an ITSM tool.
• Able to work on Logical Thinking – to Enhance the improvements task (If Any) from legacy applications.
• Expert in Application governance / Critical task closure with overall project management.
• Quick learner and drive given task with minimum supervision.
• Fluent English language skills mandatory. German desirable.
