Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic security technology projects for a leading financial institution in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for the client project team and be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation, testing, handover, and close-out.
This role will focus on large-scale security infrastructure initiatives, including CCTV system modernization, centralized monitoring implementation, and enterprise-wide access card replacement programmes. The Project Manager will coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with the client's governance, security, operational, and regulatory requirements.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with agreed scope, budget, programme, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate design development, site surveys, procurement activities, installation works, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage project deliverables in accordance with client governance requirements and reporting standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between the client project team and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with Security Services, Infrastructure, Network, Facilities Management, Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
- Manage communication with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and implementation partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committee sessions, and progress reviews.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across all stakeholder groups.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain project risk and issue registers and ensure timely escalation of critical matters.
- Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies to minimize programme and operational impacts.
- Drive issue resolution through effective stakeholder coordination and decision-making.
Implementation & Migration Management
- Plan and manage system deployment, migration, and cutover activities across multiple locations.
- Coordinate implementation schedules to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Ensure appropriate testing, commissioning, user acceptance testing, and operational readiness activities are completed.
- Manage transition and handover activities to business-as-usual support teams.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, expenditure, and cost performance.
- Manage procurement activities and vendor performance.
- Review and validate change requests, variations, and payment applications.
- Support financial reporting and project governance requirements.
Quality, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with client standards, project governance processes, and industry best practices.
- Verify adherence to information security, cybersecurity, health and safety, and operational requirements.
- Ensure project documentation, approvals, reports, and records are accurately maintained.
- Manage quality assurance processes throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Security Systems, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' project management experience delivering technology, infrastructure, security systems, or digital transformation projects.
- Experience delivering CCTV, surveillance, physical security, ELV, infrastructure, access control, or smart building projects.
- Experience managing system migration and technology upgrade programmes.
- Knowledge of IP CCTV systems, VMS platforms, centralized monitoring solutions, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity controls.
- Knowledge of Nx Witness platform and centralized security monitoring environments would be advantageous.
- Experience with enterprise-scale access control or physical security programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
