As a Sr. Project Manager, you will oversee various projects by providing status updates, facilitating communication, and managing project dependencies. You will collaborate across departments, write use cases, resolve conflicts, and prepare reports, while ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining product knowledge.

Job Summary

What you will do
- Provide information, status, and strategic plans on various projects.
- Collaborate with all departments in accomplishing and managing tasks.
- Facilitate prioritization and communication of functional and technical requirements of projects.
- Collect information from the various teams and follow up.
- Write use cases and user stories for desired improvements and new feature enhancements.
- Identify and resolve conflicts and roadblocks within the project.
- Identify and manage project dependencies.
- Develop product knowledge of DigiCert’s IT systems and applications to run the business.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity and follow-up.
- Estimate task lengths, activities, and meet schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will have
- 3-5 years of professional experience working in the software industry.
- 3+ years of previous project management experience.
- Ability to complete and tie up all loose ends on projects.
- Effectively communicate, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to talk to people no matter the title (CxO, VP, Director, etc…).
- Accomplish projects and see projects through completion.
- Power user in MS Word, Excel, and various project management applications.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities while still accomplishing tasks.
- Proven skills in eliciting cooperation from various departments, individuals, and teams.
- Understanding of SSL, PKI, and other security related technology.
- Knowledgeable in IT processes, change management, and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, etc, or equivalent years of experience and formal training.
- High performance individual who is persistent and self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
