Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean and maintainable code and include unit testing in the development process.
- Follow and share best practices in coding patterns and architecture.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter and Gatling, as well as API testing tools like REST Assured.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring that applications run efficiently.
- Contribute to the documentation of code and solutions as needed.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related STEM fields, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Java, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), and Functional Programming.
- Familiar with Spring Modules, including Spring Core, Spring AOP, Spring Web MVC, Spring Reactive, Spring AI, and Spring Batch.
- Have a basic understanding of Microservice Architecture and related patterns, including Saga, Circuit Breaker, CQRS, and Strangler.
- Experienced in Unit Testing with tools like JUnit, JMock, and Mockito.
- Have basic knowledge of Performance Testing using JMeter, Gatling, and REST Assured.
- Familiar with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
- Possess basic knowledge of Cloud Platforms (preferably Azure) and features including AKS, Azure Vault, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Functions.
- Understand Secure Coding principles (e.g., OWASP).
