What is the key purpose of a Prompt Engineer?
As a Prompt Engineer at Taboola, you will be instrumental in optimizing and deploying AI and automation solutions that drive business impact. You’ll work on developing high-quality, impactful AI models that enhance customer experiences, improve process efficiencies, and support teams across the organization. What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role, it is essential that you have:
- 3+ years of experience working with AI, machine learning, or related fields, with at least 1 year in AI prompt engineering, NLP, or conversational AI.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of AI model development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Experience with AI conversational platforms (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Salesforce Einstein, Intercom, BotKit, Rasa).
- Ability to analyze complex data to improve AI model performance and user experience.
It would be great if you also have:
- Hands-on experience with API integrations (SQL/NoSQL databases).
- Familiarity with Salesforce and digital engagement KPIs.
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As a Prompt Engineer, you will:
- Develop, refine, and test AI prompts to optimize model performance for real-world use cases.
- Work closely with AI developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven automation solutions.
- Analyze and iterate on model outputs to continuously improve the effectiveness of prompts.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.
- Assist in the creation of conversational AI systems (chatbots, self-service bots) that drive customer engagement and improve digital experiences.
- Document prompt engineering processes and share insights to improve AI model training and deployment.
