Develop, debug, and maintain Python 3 code for serverless AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS, SAM). Build HTTP APIs and event-driven systems, work with relational databases, use CI/CD, Git/GitHub, Jira/Confluence, and apply TDD/BDD while collaborating with remote teams across time zones.
Essentials:
- Strong experience in Python 3
- able to debug/troubleshoot existing python code
- able to interpret requirements into python with appropriate standards
- experience with Python tooling, ruff, pipy etc
- experience with Serverless development on AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, SAM Framework)
- experience with relational databases (postgres a bonus)
- understanding of HTTP API development
- understanding of event driven systems
- experience with Jira/Confluence
- experience with Git/GitHub
- experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes (CircleCI a bonus)
- understanding of TDD and BDD
- able to work with remote team across multiple timezones
- proactive and value driven approach
