We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts for web applications.
Experience with Cypress is preferred, along with knowledge of TypeScript, Playwright, and Selenium. The candidate should be passionate about quality, automation, and improving overall testing efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
- Work on automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Execute automation test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA team members, business analysts, and project teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing as required.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test strategy discussions.
- Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing processes.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
- Ensure timely reporting of testing progress, risks, and issues.

- 2–4 years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress is preferred.
- Good knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of web application testing.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic understanding of performance testing or security testing.
- Experience in API automation testing.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
