We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help build and maintain automation infrastructure for complex software systems.
As a Cognyter, you will:
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright to ensure high product quality.
- Create test scenarios and validate new features through automation and exploratory testing.
- Perform manual testing, bug verification, and test coverage definition when needed.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Shape automation strategies, test coverage, and quality processes from the early stages of new projects.
For that mission you will need
- BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA, with strong focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience writing automation tests using Playwright.
- Good knowledge of TypeScript and Python
- Experience with end-to-end testing of web applications, REST & WebSockets technologies.
- Understanding of the entire software development life cycle process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build and release flows
- Ability to analyze failures, investigate issues, and work closely with developers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Would be considered an advantage
- Experience with performance, load, stability, or reliability testing.
- Background with Docker and containerized environments.
- Knowledge of Linux OS.
