So, what’s the role all about?

A QA Engineer plays a crucial role in the software development process by ensuring that products meet specified requirements and are free of defects.Their work not only helps to ensure that applications function as intended but also enhances user satisfaction and trust in the software.

How will you make an impact?

  • Design & implementation of test scenarios & cases according to design document and functional requirements
  • Develop & maintain Traceability matrix and various Test artifacts
  • Setting up and installing various testing environments
  • Planning, performing and reporting on testing for different environments according to technical design and functional requirements
  • Open bugs detailing relevant information in a repeatable way
  • Reproduce issues, and verify defect resolutions

Have you got what it takes?

  • More than 4 years of working experience, preferably in product development companies
  • Experience in BFSI domain is a plus
  •  Ability to work independently or as part of a team, displaying a good natured, cooperative attitude
  • Analyzing Business Specifications, Designing and developing Test cases and Analyzing Test results
  • Strong debugging, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Some exposure to next generation automation tools (Cucumber etc) is desired, although is not mandatory.
  • Some knowledge of using scripting to automate day to day tasks is desired but not mandatory - Comfortable in an Agile environment, and with the use of Building and Packaging concepts and tools like JIRA
  • Prior experience of working with a globally distributed team is a plus.
