Role Description

Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, including test processes, documentation, and reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in software testing and recommend improvements to the QA process.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Your skills and experience
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
- Experience with JMeter or similar tools for performance testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing disciplines, including:
- Test Automation
- Performance Testing
- Test Processes
- Testing Products
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Knowledge of database testing and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Exposure to security testing tools and practices.
