Requirements:
- Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
- Build scalable data pipelines integrating multiple data sources (databases, APIs, flat files)
- Implement data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment logic
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
- Design and execute test strategies, test cases, and test plans for ETL workflows
- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation
- Develop automated and reusable validation queries/scripts
- Implement and monitor data quality rules and checks
- Identify, log, and track defects; ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Participate in UAT support, release validation, and production verification
- Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards
- Maintain detailed technical and test documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ETL and QA processes
Preferences:
- 4–6 years of experience in ETL development and data testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
- Proficiency in SQL for both development and data validation
- Experience in data warehousing concepts (SCDs, star/snowflake schemas)
- Strong understanding of ETL testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and profiling techniques
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with IICS Data Quality (IDQ) or similar tools
- Exposure to test automation frameworks for data pipelines
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation and validation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in data engineering
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Ability to manage dual responsibilities across development and QA
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and improving processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
