Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation frameworks—especially Playwright—alongside strong hands-on experience in JavaScript or TypeScript. Prior experience in ERP systems is an added advantage. As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building robust testing strategies, leading QA teams, and ensuring the highest quality of software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA planning, automation, and execution across projects.
Design and implement test automation frameworks using Playwright.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Monitor test execution, identify bugs, and drive them to resolution with the dev team.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
Ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes.
Contribute to regression, performance, and integration testing strategies.
Experience in testing ERP systems will be a significant plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
9–12 years of total experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
Deep understanding of automation frameworks, test design, and CI/CD integration.
Strong experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Experience in ERP testing is highly desirable.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB certification or similar.
