Job Description
This position is accountable and responsible for functional and regression testing, Work with product owners and developers to build test cases and provide functional testing. This includes configuring the system with test/simulated data.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases and analyze results.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
A minimum BE/ BTech/ MCA degree in computer science, computer engineering and minimum 8+ years relevant experience in testing.
Should have solid hands-on experience in functional and regression testing within a software development lifecycle.
Proven experience working with Azure DevOps for test management, build pipelines, and tracking defects.
Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
Proficiency in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter.
Ability to create and manage test cases, execute test plans, and document defects effectively.
Experience configuring systems with test/simulated data to support testing scenarios.
Skilled in collaborating with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is preferred.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for test automation is a plus.
Identifying and creating the test cases based on business requirements
Document results and user documentation
Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
Collating and monitoring the defect management process
Managing the changes and executing regression tests
