Role & Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain Automation and Manual test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD style frameworks.
- Leverage TestOps, Automation Testing and Infrastructure testing for streamlined testing operations and improved efficiency.
- Leverage understanding of several types of testing(Web,API, Canary) on different frameworks and programming languages into DevOps lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test features, enhance test planning, and integrate testing processes into DevOps pipelines.
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and identify defects, performance issues, and potential areas for improvement.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, and ensure seamless cloud integration for scalable testing solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test cases and documentation throughout the test lifecycle.
- Conduct manual testing for new functionalities and ensure robust end-to-end application testing.
- Report defects, document test progress, and provide daily task updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and practices to enhance quality and delivery timelines.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as required and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
- Experience: 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of test lifecycle management and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/CircleCI /Gitlab.
- Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud services(AWS/GCP/AZURE) and experience around testing those.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps integration.
- Testing around the Monitoring and the Observability stack.
- Test experience around databases and infrastructure
- Proficiency in Selenium,CyPress or similar
- Must have understanding of git.
- Experience with Jest, Pytest and JUnit is required.
- Basic knowledge of Graphana.
- Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks
- Good-to-Have Skills:.
- Katalon studio is good to have.
- BrowserStack is good to have.
- Experience with LambdaTest.
- Knowledge of cloud integration for testing environments.
- Knowledge of one of these is an add-on TestRail, PractiTest.
- API Testing: Proficiency with Postman, or Swagger for API validation and performance analysis.
