Impact
As a Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation), you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings. You will be deeply involved in leading the validation of the SaaS based offering including collaborating across the organization with Architects, UX experts, product managers and other software developers. You will use your expertise in building automation test framework to do sanity of the product. You are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. The Job
Design, create and maintain automated test cases and determine priority for the test cases and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features.
The candidate should be able to work independently to identify test cases/test scripts from requirements and map test cases/scripts back to the original requirement
Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross-functionally.
Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into manual and/or automatable scenarios.Developing and Executing testing automation for Cross Browser (browsers like Safari, Chrome, Mobile browsers) and android tablet
Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor & guide the junior developers in the team
Qualifications & Skills required
Must Have
Around 3+ years overall Software QA experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience with test automation
Experience in developing and implementing automated test cases for web and mobile applications
Exceptional ability to develop maintainable test automation solutions using Appium, Cypress, Pytest
Experience in TypeScript is must have
Experience in Appium is must have
Experience in Android Tablet and mobile application testing is must have
Experience in IOT domain is must have
Experience working with relational/NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman
Experience in integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
Good to Have
Experience in Android application development
Exposure to IOT domain
Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Understanding of the HTTP2.0 protocol, web applications, performance and monitoring.Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems OAuth2.0
Proficient understanding of Gitlab, CI/CD, DevOps practices
Knowledge in network architecture & server administration
Having the knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 16+ and NodeJS is a plus.
Great attention to details and Organizational skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
