We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Specialist to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of PowerApps solutions as part of the migration from legacy InfoPath forms to Microsoft PowerApps. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing low-code/ no-code applications, with a strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. This role involves designing test strategies, executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand application requirements and use cases.
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases for PowerApps applications and associated workflows.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of migrated solutions.
- Validate the integrity of data migrations from InfoPath to PowerApps.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Conduct performance, usability, and security testing as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to the development team for early issue resolution.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts where applicable.
- Document testing outcomes and create detailed reports for project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in Power Platform or Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid understanding of PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Experience testing data-driven applications and workflows.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with test management and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience testing InfoPath migrations to PowerApps.
- Familiarity with Power Platform governance, ALM strategies, and security best practices.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and PowerShell for testing integrations.
- Microsoft certifications like PL-100, PL-400, or ISTQB Foundation Level.
Education & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
