ISS STOXX is actively hiring a Revenue Accountant for Mumbai (Goregaon East) location.
Overview:
Join our dynamic global Finance Team as a motivated Revenue Accountant! You'll work closely with our Senior Revenue Accountant, taking charge of daily and month-end revenue tasks. This exciting role offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across the company. We're seeking a fast learner with a keen eye for detail, ready to dive into revenue recognition procedures and embrace a variety of tasks with increasing responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Review contracts, sales orders, invoices, and credit memos to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Reconcile key accounts—including accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and revenue—on a monthly basis.
Prepare accruals and assist with monthly revenue analytics.
Generate and analyze monthly revenue reports and to provide financial insights.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial analysis and integration support.
Assist with process improvements and Ad-hoc projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (BS in Accounting/Finance or BA in Business, with Accounting/Finance concentration).
Inter-CA or CA will be a plus.
2-3 years of accounting experience.
Familiarity with ASC-606 or IFRS-15.
Good MS Excel skills.
Very organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working. A roll up your sleeves attitude.
Understanding of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
Understanding the basis of accruals.
Understanding the principles of account reconciliations.
A team-oriented individual with good communication skills.
Self-motivated. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Good to have:
Hands-on experience with SAP, especially SAP Reporting or Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module.
