Analyst - Revenue Accounting
Essential Responsibilities
- 2 - 4 years of experience in US GAAP Revenue Accounting
- In depth knowledge of ASC 606 concepts
- Hands-on experience working on revenue assurance (preferably for an IT / ITES company) in a US public company SOX environment
- Engage in objective analysis of ongoing and prospective contractual documentation contracts with the customers and their implication for the Company’s revenues
- Assist in facilitating the automation of current processes
- Maintain / update summary listing of accounting issues, work with management to summarize key issues and exposure items, and clearly articulate summaries and positions taken
- Work closely with the external auditors to coordinate audits and reviews
Skillset:
- CA / CPA with experience working with corporate accounting teams of (preferably) US tech companies
- Big-4 experience preferred or worked with Big-4 as auditors
- Knowledge of working in SOX environment
- Expertise in reading legal documents and interpreting those and the ability to summarize in a comprehensive way
- Problem solving attitude – handled special projects in previous jobs - motivated individual with high levels of initiative to be able to identify the problems with a proactive lens
- Hands on experience working with ERP
- Outstanding communication both verbal and written
