Job Details
- Accountable for the accurate collection and documentation of business requirements from Financial and Corporate processes stakeholders to develop SAP system solutions using S4/Hana. This includes the creation designs, requirements, solution definition, test scripts, defect identification and resolution and training plan.
- Directly participates in daily support activities of the SAP (S4/Hana) IT team and plays a key role in systems solutioning and development relative to financial processes.
- Works closely with a dynamic team of process and technical professionals who assist in issue resolution and solution delivery.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with business subject area management and IT senior management.
- Executes and tests appropriate configuration related to S4/Hana FI/CO Module.
- Writes clear, complete functional specifications for the development team.
- Responsible for becoming completely familiar with existing design and enhancements.
- Understands and help influence data and interfaces between SAP and external systems.
- Ensures coverage, execution, and remediation of test activities (e.g. unit, integration, user acceptance).
- Supports the deployment of production systems and provides post-production support.
- Analyzes change requests and determines appropriate solutions.
- Updates configuration as needed and works with developers to modify programs and ensures adequate end user testing and acceptance of all system changes.
Technical Experience and other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- SAP Application configuration and implementation skills required.
- 4 or more years of SAP experience.
- 1 or more full life-cycle implementations of SAP ( at least 1 in S4 Hana) which must include requirements gathering, blueprinting, functional testing, and SAP configuration.
- 2 or more years of experience in production support environment
- Requires working knowledge of either business operations or accounting, as well as broad systems solution development.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly-complex environment using leading-edge technology
- Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to establish solid relationships with vendors in support of initiatives; ability to negotiate and manage outside vendors and strategic partners against deliverables
- Demonstrated knowledge of S/4HANA FI/CO configuration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of S/4HANA Finance integration with external systems
- Good analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with computer hardware such as general working knowledge of all technology platforms; computer software includes application development lifecycle, MS Office Professional Suite including Power Point, Visio, and Outlook.
