Job Description:
This role requires hands-on experience with:
- Supporting and Implementing distributed applications in production
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), or AWS
- Building and maintaining observability
- Hands-on with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Google dashboard, Zabbix, or similar
- Strong understanding of metrics, logs, and traces for application-level monitoring
- Incident response and root cause analysis at the application level
- Experience supporting distributed applications in production environments
- Deep understanding of application performance, latency, and error handling
- Automation of operational tasks and reliability improvements
- Proficiency with Ansible for automating application deployments, configuration management, and operational tasks
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Working closely with development teams to improve service performance and availability
