We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Boston-based team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who’s eager to make an impact in a high-growth SaaS environment—especially if you’re curious about the future of insurance. As an SDR at Hi Marley, you’ll play a critical role in driving pipeline for our Client Executives by identifying and connecting with key decision-makers at top insurance carriers and Insurtech firms. Teamwork and shared enthusiasm is a core part of our culture, which is why this role involves joining us in the Boston office for two days each week. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Generate new pipeline by prospecting into insurance carriers using email, phone, and LinkedIn. 
  • Qualify and nurture leads to uncover real opportunities that align with Hi Marley’s value proposition.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and hand off qualified leads to our Client Executives with clear context and alignment.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns and share performance feedback.
  • Keep the CRM clean and current with all lead activity and notes.
  • Stay plugged into the industry to understand key trends, market dynamics, and how Hi Marley fits into the ecosystem.
  • Contribute ideas to improve messaging, outreach strategies, and team performance. 

What We're Looking For:

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or similar roles—bonus points if it’s within SaaS or insurance.
  • A genuine interest in the insurance space and a desire to learn how carriers operate and make technology decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you know how to tailor your message and hold a conversation.
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • You’re proactive, coachable, and not afraid to pick up the phone or test a new idea.
  • A positive, team-first attitude with the grit to work through challenges and the curiosity to ask good questions.
