Position Summary:

Druva’s Sales Enablement Team is responsible for ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the tools & knowledge necessary to compete for and win customers as well as grow and retain platform adoption in a competitive cybersecurity and data protection market.  We are seeking a Sales Enablement Engineer to join our team at our Pune office.  In this position you will help design, implement, and administer next generation tools and platforms that give Druva sales a competitive advantage.  You will also assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering consumable enablement training to a high-tech global sales force.  Finally, you will work across various technical, sales, and product teams to continuously measure and improve enablement content, tool, and platform effectiveness. 

  The ideal candidate will be a detailed-oriented self-starter that has a strong technical foundation, particularly around datacenter infrastructure, security, and data protection. In addition to having a wide range of technical experience, the ideal candidate also has experience creating and delivering training, or presenting to technical audiences.  Having previous sales or sales engineering experience, while not required, will give any candidate a significant advantage.  Finally, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn new skills, work well across departments, and having the drive to deliver exemplary results will be needed to be successful in this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work to deploy and manage various tools and platforms that assist with Sales Enablement.
  • Identify emerging technologies that accelerate Sales learning and productivity
  • Lead our efforts to establish, collect, and interpret metrics as in relates to content usage, platform adoption, and overall sales productivity
  • Help the broader enablement team to design and create training content and learning modules to accelerate the onboarding of new sales associates
  • Create and maintain training content using various methodologies, including AI-generated toolkits
  • Help design and coordinate enablement for our Pune-based sales teams
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies
  • Assess gaps in evolving training needs and help create and implement process and methodologies that improve skills and overall readiness of the Druva sales field
  • Manage relationships with Marketing, product teams & decision makers to maximize our impact on overall productivity


Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical infrastructure, data protection, or security role that included project management, technical presentations, and/or technical marketing responsibilities
  • Strong foundational understanding of datacenter architectures, database technologies, SaaS solutions, and public and private cloud offerings.
  • 2+ years of experience of scripting, report writing, or other low-code solutions
  • 2+ years of experience of sales or sales engineering experience preferred
  • Advanced user of MS Excel or Google Sheets, as well as other various productivity technologies.
  • Significant experience with content creation solutions, such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, etc.
  • Excellent presentation and communication (verbal & written) skills, including experience speaking to a technical and business audiences
  • Must be a self-starter that is highly organized with attention to detail
  • Fast learner in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize activities, plan and organized to meet commitments
  • Experience working for a SaaS company or knowledge of SaaS practices preferred
