SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a key member of the sales team, you will support the Sales Manager in promoting and selling a diverse range of coatings products to both new and existing customers. By building and maintaining strong customer relationships and leveraging Jotun’s sales tools and techniques, you will contribute to achieving targeted sales, gross margin, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) goals. Your efforts will play a vital role in expanding Jotun’s market share and driving sustainable profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets by managing customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain customer account plans by understanding client needs and aligning resources to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate with customers and contractors to ensure timely delivery, resolve issues, and ensure optimal coating performance.
  • Promote Jotun’s products and solutions through regular client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to secure project specifications and drive sales.
  • Track and follow up on projects within assigned territories to ensure Jotun products are used and sales budgets are met.
  • Ensure timely customer payments by monitoring collections and maintaining Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) targets.
  • Respond to technical and commercial inquiries, introduce new products, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to win new business and support larger project bids in collaboration with the team.

Desired Profile:

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of experience in Powder coating sales and familiar with the Gujarat market.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in any field
