Role Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Admin – CPQ to join our GTM team and lead the optimization and expansion of our Salesforce CPQ environment. This is a hands-on, senior-level role that requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud, as well as a proactive approach to enabling business stakeholders and supporting complex GTM processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, sales strategy, and scalable architecture. You will be instrumental in shaping our quote-to-cash process and supporting revenue growth through automation and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, rules, product bundles, pricing strategies, and approval workflows.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize and scale the CPQ architecture to support our growing global GTM operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, RevOps, and Product teams to streamline quote-to-cash workflows and ensure seamless system alignment.
  • Drive requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation of CPQ enhancements, ensuring scalable and maintainable configurations.
  • Maintain and extend functionality across Salesforce Sales Cloud (Accounts, Opportunities, Forecasting, Territory Management, etc.).
  • Manage system configurations including custom fields, validation rules, workflows, process builders, and flows.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system issues, drive UAT testing, and ensure timely delivery of changes with minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across CPQ and Sales Cloud objects.
  • Document system processes, configurations, and user guides to enable adoption and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and admins across teams to execute cross-functional Salesforce projects.
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce CPQ releases and industry best practices to continuously improve platform performance and usability.
Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ administration experience, including complex rule configuration, pricing models, and quote workflows.
  • 8+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, with a deep understanding of Opportunity Management, Products/Price Books, and Forecasting.
  • Proven track record of supporting high-growth SaaS or B2B enterprise sales teams through scalable CPQ implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, including integration points with billing, finance, and contract systems.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and declarative customization tools.
  • Experience with Apex and Visualforce is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Salesforce Admin certification required; Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification highly preferred.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Conga)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing or integrations with NetSuite
  • Experience with sandbox management and release governance
  • Familiarity with Agile project delivery and Jira/Confluence for documentation
