Preferred by Nature is looking for a Salesforce Support Specialist to help our global workforce use Salesforce effectively. Based in India within our Data and Technology division, you will support the systems and information that enable our colleagues to advance better land management and business practices that benefit people, nature and the climate.
Reporting to the Senior Salesforce Team Lead, you will resolve day-to-day issues, improve the user experience and provide practical guidance and training. You will also support reliable data management, reporting and ongoing system improvements, helping teams and leaders access useful information and work more efficiently.
Working with us is never routine, so in this role you can expect the following areas to be central to your work:
Provide timely, practical Salesforce support to our global workforce, proactively responding to questions, investigating issues and following through to resolution.
Manage system-change requests by gathering information, clarifying user needs and involving the right colleagues in decisions.
Improve the user experience by configuring screens, data views, reports, dashboards and team-focused home pages so that information is easy to find and use.
Work with internal stakeholders to simplify processes, improve system pages and make everyday tasks more efficient.
Support system maintenance, data-quality reviews and data cleaning to keep information accurate, complete and useful, and strengthen consistent data-management practices.
Develop reports and dashboards that help employees and managers understand performance, identify trends and make informed decisions.
Create clear user guides and training materials, and deliver onboarding and training tailored to the needs of different employee groups.
Keep your knowledge of Salesforce and related technologies up to date, including emerging developments and opportunities related to artificial intelligence.
Your first year with us:
Within three months, you will:
Build a strong understanding of our Salesforce environment, key business processes, user groups and support needs.
Complete onboarding on Preferred by Nature’s systems and support procedures, and resolve common user issues with guidance.
Identify recurring support needs, contribute a practical user guide and agree initial data-quality and user-experience improvements with the team.
Within six months, you will:
Manage routine support requests with growing independence and escalate complex issues with clear investigation notes.
Deliver practical onboarding or training and implement agreed improvements to a report, dashboard, screen or data view.
Complete a focused data-quality review and support corrective action, with users involved in checking the results.
Within twelve months, you will:
Provide dependable support from initial enquiry through to confirmed resolution, with clear communication and appropriate escalation.
Demonstrate improvement in an agreed area of data quality, user experience or recurring support issues, supported by evidence and user feedback.
Work independently across routine support, reporting and user guidance, and contribute a prioritised plan for further system and process improvements.
Important that you:
Bring experience providing application, CRM or business systems support, ideally within Salesforce or a similar platform.
Have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Have experience understanding stakeholder requirements, resolving issues and delivering practical solutions.
Have a strong customer service orientation and take a proactive approach to helping users.
Can investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions using sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understand data quality, data governance and information management, with close attention to detail and accuracy.
Understand basic User Experience and User Interface principles and how to make systems intuitive and user-friendly.
Are fluent in spoken and written English.
Are motivated to develop your Salesforce expertise and interested in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence in business systems.
Would also be great, but not necessary, if you:
Have hands-on experience supporting Salesforce users.
Have configured system pages or data views, or developed reports and dashboards.
Have created user guides and delivered training or onboarding for business-system users.
Have supported colleagues across different teams, countries or levels of technical confidence.
