Job Description

Job Title: Integration Engineer - SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with over 3 years of hands-on experience to join our enterprise integration team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining SAP technical components that enable seamless data movement between SAP and external systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ABAP programming, data interfaces, and integration technologies, along with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces to support data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Build and maintain technical components such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support integration efforts using middleware platforms (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, etc.).
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and documentation of developed solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data interfaces and performance.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement for existing integrations.
• Eager to learn API development using Mulesoft.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP concepts including Reports, Module Pool Programming, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Experience with data integration techniques using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with SAP middleware tools (PI/PO, CPI) or other integration platforms.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or others.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) experience
• Knowledge of non-SAP integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, OpenText EDI).
• Experience with version control and transport management tools.
