Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, Scrum Master to join our Capital Markets and Managed Services product organisation to support Report Hub. You will play a critical role in enabling high-performing agile delivery squads. Acting as a servant leader and coach, the Scrum Master ensures the effective application of agile principles, facilitates delivery processes, and supports the squad in achieving consistent, high-quality outcomes aligned to business and client objectives.
This role is instrumental in promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and transparency, while removing impediments and ensuring the team operates efficiently within Delta Capita’s agile delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities
· Agile Delivery & Ceremony Management: Facilitate all core agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Impediment Removal & Risk Management: Identify, track, and remove blockers that impact team delivery while actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID) and escalate when required. Including supporting the squad in navigating cross-team and stakeholder dependencies.
· Agile Coaching & Continuous Improvement: Coach squad members on agile principles, best practices, and ways of working, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and team self-organisation. Continue to drive improvements in delivery performance, team health, and collaboration.
· Delivery Oversight & Performance Tracking: Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity, and delivery metrics (e.g. burndown charts) ensuring accurate and up-to-date management of delivery tooling (e.g. JIRA boards). Provide clear and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
· Backlog & Planning Support: Work closely with the Product Owner to support backlog refinement and prioritisation. Ensuring user stories are well-defined, appropriately sized, and ready for delivery, supporting alignment across sprint goals, release plans, and overall product roadmap.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key interface between the squad, Product Owner, and wider delivery stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication across business, product, and technology teams and support alignment with programme-level objectives and delivery milestones.
