What you will do
We are seeking a high-integrity, technically grounded Security Manager to lead and scale our security operations and engineering efforts. In this role, you will be the bridge between our global strategy and our engineering team in India. The ideal candidate isn't just a gatekeeper; you are a security champion who builds a culture of security by design through mentorship, a relentless work ethic, and a positive, collaborative mindset.
You will:
Partner with P&T Engineering Organization: Collaborate and co-develop standards to strengthen our product security and SDLC practices
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage and grow a high-performing security engineering team in India, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Cross-Border Collaboration: Serve as the primary security advocate between global leadership and local execution, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on security milestones. Security Evangelism: Promote security best practices across the entire engineering organization, transforming security from a checkpoint into a shared value. Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on guidance for security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and the implementation of automated security tooling. Operational Excellence: Maintain a high standard of work ethic, leading by example during incident response or critical project sprints to ensure the organization remains resilient.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with 3+ years specifically in cloud security engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in cloud native security controls, IAM, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience configuring network security controls, including WAFs, security groups, and cloud firewalls.
- Solid understanding of security monitoring, logging, and incident response within a cloud environment.
- Incident management and response
- Improving SDLC security practices
- Metrics tracking and improvement
Additional experience desired
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and unified CSPM platforms.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP or other highly regulated cloud compliance standards.
