The Senior Account Executive will manage the sales cycle, develop a qualified pipeline, and sell to senior stakeholders, focusing on modern data solutions.

We are looking for Data Engineers with with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions. This is a full time role.
Responsibilities
- We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive who thrives in fast-paced, high ownership environments and has a strong understanding of the modern data stack. This is a 100% net new logo acquisition role focused on mid-market and enterprise accounts across North America. You’ll play a critical role in helping CTOs, Head of Data, and Product leaders modernize their data infrastructure and accelerate time to insights and AI applications with 5X.
- What You Will Do own and execute the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, negotiation, and close
- Develop and maintain a 3–5X qualified outbound pipeline at all times
- Strategically sell to senior stakeholders including CTOs, Head of Data, Product, and Analytics.
- Position 5X as a high-impact, time-to-value alternative to traditional DIY data stacks.
- Collaborate closely with Product, SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships to close complex multi-stakeholder deals.
- Maintain a rigorous cadence of outreach and follow-ups with personalized, insight-led messaging
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Account Executive experience, ideally with exposure to the data ecosystem (modern data stack, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, etc.)
- Track record of closing complex, consultative deals in North America
- Ability to identify critical use cases and business pains, and translate them into compelling narratives
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-trust environment
- High EQ and strong executive presence—able to lead multi-threaded sales cycles
