Role Overview
We are looking for experienced actuarial professionals to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI systems. The role focuses on creating realistic, high-difficulty actuarial tasks, developing gold-standard solutions, and reviewing outputs for technical accuracy, practical relevance, and alignment with professional standards.
The work may cover insurance pricing, reserving, risk modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, actuarial assumptions, and scenario testing across life, health, property and casualty, pensions, or actuarial consulting.
CONTRACT: Contractor assignment, 8 weeks
COMMITMENT: Full-time, 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours of PST overlap
LOCATIONS: Remote - Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam
PROCESS: Initial screening followed by domain manager review
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-difficulty actuarial tasks based on realistic insurance and financial scenarios.
- Develop technically accurate, well-reasoned, gold-standard solutions.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, assumptions, and practical relevance.
- Review actuarial calculations, methodologies, and conclusions against professional standards.
- Assess work related to reserving, pricing, valuation, profitability, forecasting, and risk modeling.
- Validate and challenge actuarial assumptions using credible data and professional judgment.
- Review and calibrate the work of other contributors.
- Maintain consistent quality across assigned tasks and day-to-day reviews.
- Identify genuine edge cases and unclear evaluation criteria.
- Escalate complex cases and rubric ambiguities to the functional expert lead.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, property and casualty, health insurance, pensions, or actuarial consulting.
- Recognized actuarial credential such as SOA ASA/FSA, CAS ACAS/FCAS, IFoA Fellowship, or an equivalent regional qualification.
- Expert knowledge of reserving methodologies, reserve adequacy, loss development, and actuarial valuation.
- Strong experience in product pricing and profitability analysis.
- Strong experience in risk modeling, forecasting, and scenario testing.
