EPDM CAPEX, Sr Analyst
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic Finance team as a Financial Analyst within the Global CAPEX Team, where you will serve as the primary contact person for our CAPEX system and reports. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our global capital expenditure processes.
Key Responsibilities:
CAPEX System Management:• Act as the main point of contact for CAPEX system enquiries.• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize system improvements.• Conduct training sessions to educate users and ensure efficient use of available systems.• Ensure the CAPEX system is current with respect to taxonomy and project lists.• Manage the approval workflow, organize the bi-monthly Committee meetings.
Monthly routine and data reconciliation:• Own CAPEX calendar, ensuring timely data in the CAPEX system during month end close.• Ensure timely update and classification of data in the CAPEX system during the month-end close.
o Forecast: check the budget allocation during Risks & Opportunities meetings
o Actuals: extract data from SAP and load to 4Site• Provide actionable insights on CAPEX expenditures and projects, to support financial decision-making and future resource allocation.• Perform monthly data reconciliation between the CAPEX system and the financial ledger, working closely with relevant departments for data validation and variance analysis.
o Forecast: meet with the PMs to discuss actuals vs forecast, and to make sure that the year-to-go forecast is updated and accurate
o Actuals: check that the results in SAP and 4Site are matching with HFM. Ensure that the split between CAPEX and Cloud is reflected in 4Site as well as HFM
CAPEX Audit enquiry:• Conduct regular audits of CAPEX transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with established policies.• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits related to CAPEX expenditures.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, CAPEX management, or a similar role.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.• Effective communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.• Fluent English, with the ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively.
