In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- The Finance Transformation Office team works to modernize and simplify Finance's Technology with self-service tools by focusing on automating manual processes, simplifying complex workflows, and increasing new report creation to deliver deeper, more reliable, and real time analytical insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data analysis needs.
- Design and develop Power Apps/Automate workflows to automate data blending, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Implement data validation and quality checks within Power Apps/Automate workflows to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize and enhance existing Power Apps/Automate workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to integrate Power Apps/Automate workflows into broader data infrastructure and analytics frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Apps/Automate workflows, ensuring timely resolution of any technical problems.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality and accuracy of Power Apps /Automate workflows.
- Document technical specifications, workflow designs, and data mappings for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps /Automate features and functionalities, exploring new capabilities to enhance data analytics processes.
- Provide training and support to business users in understanding and utilizing Power Apps /Automate workflows effectively.
- 8-12 years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, software development or education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering
- Seasoned Expert in PowerApps Development with experience in M365 environment
- Working Knowledge of analytics application like Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps
- Working knowledge of database tools like Oracle, MS SQL, Snowflake
- Experience working with complex datasets using SQL
- Experience with creating visualizations. Dashboarding experience involving multiple views that all respond to navigation/filter/etc. Ability to publish that can be reused for across dashboards/workbooks and used for self-service by other analysts working on the same domain (and/or, to reuse cube created by others where expedient).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience in ETL development using any ETL tools.
- Good to have certifications in BI Reporting tools Data Management, or Data Engineering.
- Expected to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and good team player.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address servicing challenges and optimize processes.
- Good experience working on Application development using Power Apps
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good experience working on SQL
- Working on python or any Data science tools will be added advantage.
- Detail oriented, results driven, and can navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Consultative skills: should have the ability to rationalize business need and solution design from people not knowing how to ask precisely for what they need.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions, and communicate clear, actionable recommendation to business leaders & partners.
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
