Q2 is seeking a Senior Application Analyst for GitHub and GitLab who will work closely with key engineering users and is considered the technical subject matter expert. Performs technical support functions for the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of GitHub and GitLab enterprise functionality. The GitHub/GitLab Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of Q2’s code repository and CI/CD environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform IT functions such as design, evaluation, testing, debugging, implementation, and integration of application programs supporting Q2 processes and operations
- Analyze, acquire, install, modify, and support the GitHub and GitLab applications and underlying technology infrastructure
- Serve as GitHub and GitLab technical expert, performing complex tasks such as integrations, access management, automation, and repository structure maintenance
- Act as technical project lead for the implementation of new functionality, integrations, upgrades, and patches
- Create, maintain, and support a variety of dashboards, audit reports, and queries – both standard and custom – to monitor platform usage and compliance
- Troubleshoot GitHub and GitLab configuration and integration issues to identify and fix root causes
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Continued development, training, and certification on new GitHub and GitLab releases and functionality as Q2 adopts the latest features to align with operational needs
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical application analysis with 2+ years specifically with GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, or equivalent DevOps/repository management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced knowledge of GitHub and GitLab administration and configuration; certification coursework a plus
- Ability to effectively work with engineering users, IT business analysts, and project managers to ensure consistency with organizational standards
- Understanding of change management principles associated with new technology implementations
- Understanding of project management principles
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results
