Senior Backend Developer

We build tailored AI solutions, advanced analytics platforms, dashboards, data workflows, AI/LLM-powered systems, and enterprise-ready applications that move from idea to production.

Revmind Labs AI is looking to fill the role of a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, working as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) embedded with a Fortune 20 healthcare client. In this role, you will be deployed remotely with the client's team, responsible for developing and continuously refining enterprise-grade analytics products and applications leveraging cloud platforms, especially AWS.

Primary Job Function

The Senior Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, secure API layers, and serverless microservices that support Revmind's advanced analytics, AI, data science, and enterprise product development needs.

•    Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Python (FastAPI), SQL, and cloud-native technologies.

•    Develop and deploy serverless microservices using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, and related AWS services.

•    Implement authentication and authorization (Cognito, OAuth, JWT).

•    Design and optimize data models, database queries, and backend workflows across relational and NoSQL databases.

•    Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit and integration tests) and participate in code reviews and release processes.

•    Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using AWS tools such as CloudWatch and X-Ray.

•    Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, data science, and AI engineering teams to convert prototypes and demos into robust, production-grade backend systems.

The Senior Backend Developer is accountable for delivering targeted business impact per initiative in collaboration with key stakeholders, with significant responsibility for the development and management of Revmind's strategic AI / Advanced Analytics products and applications.

•    4+ years as a Python Developer, Backend Developer, Analytics Developer, or similar role, with strong FastAPI and SQL skills.

•    Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Cognito) and serverless microservices architecture.

•    Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and RESTful/GraphQL API design.

•    Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design, including JWT and OAuth.

•    Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and performance tuning.

•    Ability to collaborate across frontend, DevOps, AI, data, design, and product teams.

•    Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (AWS SAM, CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).

•    Familiarity with testing and code-quality tooling (pytest, pytest-mock/cov, moto, SonarQube, black, flake8, mypy).

•    Exposure to ML/GenAI applications, data engineering (PySpark, ETL/ELT, AWS Glue, Redshift), and event-driven messaging (SNS/SQS).

Compensation will be up to 30 LPA.
