Job Description:
As a Senior BI Analyst at Skillz, you will play a key role in building a trusted data ecosystem, driving analytical insights, and enabling data-backed decision-making. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, actionable insights, streamline reporting, and develop scalable data models that influence business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Align dashboards with updated logic and definitions; ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting.
- Provide weekly KPI commentary and explain business performance trends to stakeholders.
- Audit, consolidate, and streamline dashboards to improve reliability and reduce redundancy.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights that drive measurable business impact.
- Build reusable Snowflake models and automate key dashboards and business review reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance drivers and share actionable recommendations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau; experience with Snowflake or Python preferred.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and business narratives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on driving outcomes.
- Experience or passion for the gaming industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (preferred, not required).
