The Strategy and Colleague Experience team in CIS is responsible for delivering comprehensive data solutions to our internal customers. This includes Reporting & Analytics, the Global IT data/information platform, and being the central custodian of data standards.
Position Summary:Join our team as a Senior Data Analyst experienced in Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform. Help our team transition into a data-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as key developer and coordinator for Power BI dashboards and data models supporting Global IT.
- Manage daily operations of the Strategy & Colleague Experience function, including intake and routing of data and reporting requests.
- Build complex data models and visualizations, driving meaningful insights and business outcomes.
- Define and implement standards and governance for reporting, ensuring alignment and reusability across teams.
- Collaborate with team members to find opportunities for enhanced analytics, automation, and visibility.
- Maintain robust documentation and training materials to support continuous learning and development.
- Identify and solve anomalies or data quality issues; collaborate with data owners and IT security to address gaps.
- Lead adoption of new capabilities within the Microsoft Power Suite, including staying updated on monthly feature releases.
- Set up and monitor important metrics for assessing performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Support ad hoc requests for analysis and promote a culture of data transparency and self-service.
- Promote mentoring and customer assistance to develop data literacy and reporting maturity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Power BI and modern reporting tools.
- Proven proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power BI Desktop, Python, AI and Data Science.
- Experience crafting and implementing robust data models, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and integration capabilities.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong grasp of business process analytics and excellent discernment to identify business opportunities and solutions to business issues.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a global IT or large enterprise environment is strongly preferred.
- Prior exposure and data level experience with Planview Portfolios, Planview AgilePlace, ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, Monday.com are an advantage.
- Expertise in data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
- Understanding data privacy laws, governance frameworks, and standard methodologies for compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
