About the Role
As a Senior Campaign Operations Analyst, you will take independent ownership of supporting our client service teams within the Yahoo Consumer organization to enhance performance across our ad campaigns. Working with minimal supervision, you will utilize your professional expertise to manage complex ad setups, audit delivery reports, and uncover actionable performance insights. In this mid-level role, you will actively implement modern AI utilities to eliminate manual operational bottlenecks, driving campaign delivery speed and protecting critical revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Ownership & QA: Manage the end-to-end creative setup and rigorous QA lifecycles for high-value client campaigns, ensuring compliance with third-party tag specifications and internal delivery checklists.
AI-Augmented Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex campaign delivery and reporting discrepancies across internal and external platforms, leveraging Atlassian Rovo and Claude Cowork to parse technical tickets and draft execution resolution steps rapidly and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Partner Management: Engage consistently with your internal partners, particularly the Client Experience Managers, to deepen your understanding of client needs and strategic priorities. Leverage these insights to craft compelling pitches for incremental budgets.
Data Insights & Reporting: Develop tailored, highly analytical performance dashboards by integrating diverse data sets through Looker and Claude. Generate clear trend summaries and conduct systematic audits of raw data to proactively identify delivery anomalies, ensuring accurate spend management and maximizing campaign efficiency.
Workflow Automation: Create AI prompt workflows and automation scripts to handle repetitive reporting tasks and share what works with the broader team.
Feature Advocacy: Identify and document platform or tool limitations, collaborating with Product and Engineering to specify feature requests that improve overall ad tech capabilities.
Revenue Protection: Proactively audit delivery pacing, identify under-delivery risks early, and coordinate optimization pivots to ensure campaigns meet or exceed quarterly KPIs.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor level degree (marketing, advertising, business, computer applications, or related field).
Experience: 4+ years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, or digital marketing with hands-on knowledge of ad platforms such as Yahoo Ads, Google Ad Manager, and related ad tech.
AI Mindset: Curious about putting AI to work; using LLM-based tools and automated workflow assistants to increase efficiency and produce sharper, cleaner reporting.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and Google Suite; familiarity with web analytics, programmatic media, media planning and optimization is a plus.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical execution steps to both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Proactive and analytical approach to troubleshooting; demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure delivery issues, evaluate data patterns, and execute technical solutions independently.
Collaboration: Strong cross-team collaborator with a client-first mindset, comfortable partnering with sales, client services, and product engineering teams.
