Senior Cloud Application Administrator (Tableau & PowerBI)
We are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Cloud Application Administrator (Tableau & PowerBI) position to join our Pune office. Qualified candidates will possess the skills detailed below and relevant work experience.
What you'll do:
As an Application Security Specialist in the Enterprise you will -

• Strong understanding of Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud architecture and administration Admin Certification preferred.
• Experience as Tableau administrator, installing, configuring and administering multi-tenant Tableau Server on Windows and Linux platform
• Good knowledge of Tableau Metadata tables and experience in Tableau scripting (TABCMD and TABADMIN)
• Experience in setting up different authentication types along with SSO on Tableau server
• Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery
• Experience in driving out requirements and building process along with complete documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities not only for Tableau Server but also on the underlying infrastructure such as OS and Network
• Develop and document standards/best practices for development and administration of the Tableau platform.
• Refine and enhance the technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands and new Tableau software releases.
• Administer and maintain Power BI Service, including workspace, dataset, and report management.
• Manage Power BI licensing, user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational policies.
• Implement and enforce Power BI governance policies (naming conventions, sharing policies, usage monitoring, etc.).
• Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI service, reports, dashboards, and gateways. Analyze, troubleshoot and tune product performance or deployment issues.
• Vendor Management - Thorough understanding of different types of Tableau and PowerBI Licensing along with user management
• Identify automation opportunities and lead automation implementation.
• Perform server maintenance (backups, cleanups, updates, restores, etc.)
• Provide on-call support for Business Intelligence issues
• Identify improvement areas in Environment hosting and upgrade processes.
• Knowledge of capacity planning and system's scaling needs

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE
• 3+ years of experience in Tableau Administration
• Experience in PowerBI Administration
• Experience in AWS Administration, Application deployment and configuration management
• Advance database and data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Good knowledge of different Operating Systems like Windows, Linux, Unix,
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, EMR, CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancer etc.)
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and database technologies like SQL server, PostgreSQL.
• Good knowledge of web server software like IIS or Apache Tomcat
• Good Knowledge of any scripting language like PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell scripting
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in rotational shifts
• Ability to quickly learn new platforms, languages, tools, and techniques as needed to meet project requirements
• Self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Fluency in English
